About

WHY Future Smart ?

I CARE about the future – and that means I care about you, my and your children, about the future of humanity. I have a huge investment in the future that sits around my table every Sunday evening. And I am privileged to work every week with smart, bright caring people who have huge investments in the future – and who are committed to being an active, positive force to help shape that future.

I KNOW that we are facing enormous challenges – some even argue insurmountable challenges. And I know that if we want to have a fair chance to face these challenges and work together to shape a positive future for us all, then we have to learn new skills today. We will have to develop ourselves and our positive potential to new levels if we are to be up to the task of shaping a positive future in the face of the massive challenges facing us.

I BELIEVE that we CAN learn today to become better able to shape a positive tomorrow – and I also believe that there are enough people who want to learn how to do this. I also believe that learning today to shape tomorrow does NOT come at the expense of a full, active engagement with the challenges of today. In fact, learning how to deal with today’s challenges with an eye to the future IS the way to acquire Future Smarts.

I CAN create deep learning for those who want to learn how to shape tomorrow. My entire adult life has been devoted to facilitating learning for others – ranging from technical learning to deep personal learning. Whether through one-on-one-one coaching or designing impactful learning programs for groups, I have develop deep expertise in how to connect people, ideas and the real world in ways that create real learning. And I want to use this expertise to create a learning space, products and processes to support those who want to actively engage in learning today how to shape a positive tomorrow.
